[edit] Cats
Scott bases his popular webcomic VG Cats on two cats he owns. They are called Leo and Aeris. He owns other cats, one of which is called Ronin. He found Ronin in his garage, starving and sick. He took Ronin to the vet and brought her home to live with him. Although Scott has repeatedly asserted that Ronin would not appear in the comics, many fans have made her a character anyway.
[edit] Jack Thompson controversy
Ramsoomair had a brief, yet infamous (amongst the webcomics and gaming communities) brush with attorney Jack Thompson, who had forwarded a copy of his open letter regarding Killer7 to Ramsoomair. Ramsoomair responded to the letter and was eventually threatened by Mr. Thompson with the violation of Florida's cyberstalking laws, in spite of the fact that Ramsoomair did not initiate the conversation.
