Sembawang MRT Station

Sembawang MRT Station (NS11) is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Singapore, and the northernmost MRT Station of the North South Line. It is sited in Sembawang, a residential area which is just over 6 years old and still undergoing development. The first level of the station is open in design and can be accessed from almost all sides. It is now integrated with the open-air, newly-opened Sembawang Bus Interchange which allows residents to commute to work or travel to other places easier. Sun Plaza Shopping Centre cum condominium is sited next to the station.

Special trains which terminate at Pasir Ris Station on the East West Line instead of Jurong East Station on the North South Line serve this station on weekday morning peak hours.
