[edit] Suggestion
Thanks for the suggestion, as I know Master of Puppets well. We are only starting the project now, and he is hopefully going to be a designer, as we no longer need more founders. I was wondering if you would like to be a designer when we start working? Thetruthbelow 22:33, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- We are actually asking for new members. Want to be the first? Plus I like crazy people. I am one ;D Thetruthbelow 22:41, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- So am I :) Will (message me!) 09:42, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

I have made the templates you made for the BDC "real". Thanks again for your work. Mr. Turcottetalk 23:33, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Normy
Yeah, I worked on Neighbours a few times. The people down there think I've got potential so I'm going to keep going for it! Apparently Neighbours is reasonably popular in the UK, is that true? I'm working on a few independent films as well that me and a few mates want to submit to a local independent cinema which would be great money. So what interests do you have? Catch ya. Normy 05:21, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- That's a pretty decent job for a 15 y.o. How long have you been with that job? I'm a dogs person. Don't know why, probably never will. My hobbies are mainly sport, especially Aussie rules. I enjoy just about anything that isn't gridiron, baseball or any variations of baseball. I also enjoy pro wrestling, video games and hanging with mates. I like listening to rock music and comedy movies. My favourite movie is Rat Race and my favourite TV show Thank God You're Here. What are some of your favourites? Normy 05:50, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
As far as jobs are concerned, I'm unemployed. Don't really have any interest in getting one even though I really should. That's pretty cool that you've got an ad in the paper, smart thinking. So it's obviously an independent thing, not signed with any business? I've heard about the King Charles Cav, I think I read somewhere that they were the most unintelligent dogs in the world! I love the German Spitz, it's adorable! Did you post that pic in the article or someone you know? I've got a beagle who's about 6 months old. She's cute but she is very hyperactive. I love my Italian foods. Chicken Parmigana, pizza and pasta are my favourites. How'd you get into this whole Wikipedia thing anyway? Normy132 09:12, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, beagles are very wilfull, very hard to train. When we tell her to sit she just ignores you and keeps jumping. She likes to jump a lot. I got into it through my mate Mikey who's obviously a Wikipedian himself. He got me into it while we were doing a school project. I got into a hooked craze and now its one of my favourite pastimes. Yeah, I've got one sister, Fiona who's 14 y.o. She has no interest at all in WIkipedia or expanding her knowledge. She's one of those ditzy girls...you know the ones who are all social life and no work? I was looking at your contribs list and I saw The O.C. was in there somewhere. Are you a fan? Normy132 10:55, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm a fan of The O.C. but not Smallville, never really caught my interest. While we're talking about The O.C, do the UK follow the same schedule as Australia? We just got past the episode where Seth and Summer get relationship help from Taylor. I'm sort of split half and half on where I get my knowledge from. Because I'm doing Accounting and Business Management it's almost compulsory you take everything in at school otherwise I'll fail but I take in a lot from Wikipedia as well. I found some really quirky things on Wikipedia. It's good for those kind of things you can't ask your parents or techers because you're simply too embarassed! Normy132 01:42, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- So you're up to the third last episode. Yeah, Taylor is a character who has lots of depth. I think the reason The OC is such a popular show is because people can relate to the characters and Taylor is a perfect example of that. What year are you doing at school? Come to think of it, the UK probably has a different education system to us. I'm doing year 11 and I just finished mid-year exams. Normy132 03:39, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, exams are quite extravagantly hard. If you do some solid revision generally they are easy but there are some things that pop up that you just think "when did I learn that?" The science (physics, chemistry) are math (math, accounting) subjects are the hardest ones but the best thing about them is there is a definite right or wrong answer. College already and you're like 15? In Australia we start university at 18 or over. Some people take a year off and go traveling.
- To tell the truth I can't think of a side character on the OC as good as Taylor has been. Anna was pretty good though. Normy132 06:28, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Oh, okay, that makes a lot more sense now. School is the same over here. It is compulsory to stay until the end of year 10 (16 y.o) but after that you're free to go. I've seen a few people go but most of them were dropkicks and didn't stand a chance at school. Yeah, Alex was cool. Now that I think about it Chili and Johnny are pretty annoying, more particularly Chili. Don’t know why though, there was just something about them. Because I live in Melbourne it's pretty cold most of the year but it gets warmer around the end of spring/start of summer. The weekly forecast is mainly 13-15 degrees this week but it doesn't get much colder than that. What's the weather like in Britain in the middle of summer (or any time for that case!). Normy132 09:20, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Jeez that's cold! In Melbourne we get similar weather to you, maybe not as cold in the winter. In summer we get up to 40 degrees most days. The last time we had a negative temperature must've been about 7 or 8 years ago, it was freezing as well! Up in Queensland though (north of Melbourne) they rarely ever have a bad day of weather. The OC airs on Tuesdays over here. We just had the episode where Marissa is doing drugs at the end. You must have the finale next week. Have you been following the World Cup? I haven't had a good night sleep since it started. The games air at like midnight and go till about 5am! Normy132 00:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- Yeah, it was a thrill when Australia beat Japan. I watched the game from start to finish and I thought we were gone but then we shot out of the blocks. England is in rare form as well, I've watched both of their games and they look a real chance at going the whole way. I've got a few mates in England at the moment on a cricket tour. I'm not sure where exactly they are in England but they're over there. You are lucky that you get it on in the afternoons. I was considering going to Germany for it but I wouldn't be able to stick around for all of Australia's games because of school. Do you live near a big city like London or Manchester or are you in the suburbs? Normy132 13:46, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I enjoy playing cricket as well but I enjoy watching it as well. I'm going to The Ashes this year at the MCG at the end of the year. Can't believe England beat Australia last year. Australia is a great place. Decent weather, great people, lots of things to do. I live just outside the city in the suburbs. It's getting a lot bigger though. I don't see why they can't just grow the area in Central Australia. There's plenty of room, probably just too hot. Weather varies a lot across Australia as you can probably tell! I highly recommend if you ever go for an international holiday go to either Fiji or Australia. Fiji is great. They sing native songs while you have dinner and make the best banana milkshakes! What’s it like to live in England? Normy132 03:44, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- It's okay about taking up so much of my talk page, it's the only messages I get these days because nobody seems to take into account how much work I do on this page! Yeah, it's like 45 degrees out there in Central Australia every day and gets down to about 5 degrees at night. 627! That's amazing that it has been preserved for that long! The most significant thing I can think of in Australia is probably Uluru, and we didn't even build that! Apart from that we've got the MCG, which is like Wembley Stadium except it's used for just about any sport imaginable. I'd love to go to the UK as well because I'm a complete soccer nut. Again, the air fare is very high. I've heard it's always cold and miserable weather over there but whenever I watch a live broadcast of something from England (e.g. the soccer or the London bombings coverage) it's always overcast! It's raining cats and dogs outside my bedroom at the moment but the forecast (which I watched like 10 minutes ago) reckons it will be sunny all day. That's Melbourne weather for you. Are you on school holidays at the moment? Normy132 03:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
Can’t say I've ever seen The Producers. I've seen little snip-its of it but nothing significant. I just got back from Neighbours taping today, I'm stuffed. It's a three-day shoot as well so I have to go in tomorrow and the day after! That spouse thing is a classic. I know some people who thought mice was the plural of both a mouse and a moose! Normy132 10:12, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- I got back from the shooting today. It was great! I got my head on TV (again). I think they're actually pretty keen on giving me a go because they put me in the best spot out of all the extras for like the third time in a row, then again it might be just a coincidence. I love this lifestyle. It's given me a real confidence boost over the last 12 months knowing that I'm actually achieving something however significant it may be. When you say writer do you mean author or script? Normy132 11:03, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Do you have a MySpace profile just out of interest? Thanks for the kudos, much appreciated. Normy132 07:35, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm a very small person. I'm like 2nd smallest in my year level! I only weigh like 45-50kg as well. How tall and heavy are you out of interest? Normy132 11:38, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
41 kilos isn't all that heavy, but neither is 45! My mum is about 4'7" so I can imagine how tall you are. Normy132 11:47, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- You could say that. Doing anything interesting in England at the moment? Normy132 11:56, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
What a coincidence! I'm feeding my dog! Normy132 11:59, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- As soon as you said that it reminded me of a sketch Graham Kennedy did on one of his shows where he wanted his dog to eat food but instead it went for a wee on the camera! Having a beagle has it's advantages. It'll eat anything you put in front of it. Normy132 12:04, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi. We haven't talked in a while, so I'd just like to say hi. :) ØřêōşGo Italia! 15:15, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Grazie! Io non so molto, sebbene. (Thanks! I don't know a lot, though.) He IS so adorable! The June 2 pic is my dog, taken in our driveway when I was messing with a camera. :D I don't really get the urge to put in 60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 commas everwhere(XD) but I do often find myself using a lot of parentheses. (I like to write chatty. SEE?! There it goes again.) Therefore, my favorite punctuation mark is the parenthese. (That is the singular word, right?) Bene, sì... (Well, yeah.) ØřêōşGo Italia! 18:23, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

- My dog isn't really that big. She's about medium-sized, since we buy medium Milk Bones. I wish I knew more Italian, and I just recently learned 'sono' is the word for 'am'. In Japanese, I only know ごめんなさい, or 'gomen nasai', from a Madonna song. I still want to learn Japanese after Italian because...I guess I just do. :D I still can't figure out Inuyasha and most animes though. ØřêōşGo Italia! 21:44, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- Wow. Your dad must be really specific. :P All I had to do was beg and beg and beg. My dad really doesn't care about their size. I know he had some big dogs. He once had a dog named Quicksilver, I think, whom he picked up while traveling in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, or California. And I know he had a German Shepherd, too. Did I ever tell you that story about the cat and dog my dad had as a kid on Halloween? ØřêōşGo Italia! 20:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- Well, when my dad was a kid, on Halloween his cat would dress up as a dog and the dog would dress up as a cat. When my dad and his siblings would go to collect candy, the 'cat' would bark and the 'dog' would meow. When my papa first told me that story, I wouldn't stop laughing for ages! ØřêōşGo Italia! 20:43, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

- You don't? I thought you did. :P What's England like? According to my dad, it's fantastic. However, I still do not get the difference between England, the United Kingdom, and Britain. :P ØřêōşGo Italia! 00:08, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm sure many of you who are using monobook have noticed recently an ugly sitenotice saying something about wikimania and scholarships. Well, to remove that, put the following in your monobook.css:

You've got some extraneous coding in there (I'm not sure why the font face is so important to you, since it'll only work if your viewer has it loaded - you might consider

[edit] Hi, my dear Sergeant!
How are you, my dear Sergeant? Well, first of all, please allow me to thank you deeply for the very kind comments on my Talk page - but to leave you "in awe" seems a bit too much to me! ;) Seriously, hun, thank you; to be completely honest with you, I am a bit confused about such a big fuss in my Talk page going on in the last hours. I don't feel like I've done anything special, nor been anything different than what I am in my everyday life. Is it so extraordinary simply to be nice to others? Oh well... enough phylosophy for now :) I have noticed you talking with The Halo, and you strike me as a very nice person too - keep spreading that Wikilove around, there is someone who needs it right around that Talk page! ;) Btw, your userpage is simply beautiful - great colors, woderful layout, and lovely contents; congrats on a great piece of work! From now on, I'd like to consider you my friend, and I'd be honored to be counted among yours. Should you ever, ever, need my help, or if you simply feel like talking, my Talk page will always be open to you. Have a great hug from this side of the ocean! :) Warm regards, Phædriel ♥ tell me - 02:23, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for Supporting my RfA!
Yeah, I know this is late (and I know you have already congratulated me for this achievement), but it is now my turn to thank all those who supported me. This is quite a daunting task when you are hand-crafting each and every "thank you" (no template here!) I anticipate that I will remain a "kind" user, but I don't think I can live up to being a "perfectly good user" -- everyone makes mistakes! Oh, and by the way, my RfA passed by a margin of 54/6/1. Thanks again! Ian Manka Talk to me! 18:06, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- To be honest, I haven't gotten that far. But I hope to address the opposers' concerns, and ask them questions on why they opposed. Then I will try and change my editing behavior to address their response... or so goes the plan. Ian Manka Talk to me! 23:06, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello Sergeant Snopake. I just wanted to come here and thank you for everything before I retire from wikipedia. I have decided not to stay for various reasons, mostly from the past. I have seen what this place has done to people, and I have decided to not let it happen to me. I don't know if I will come back, but regardless I wanted to thank you.
