[edit] Removed the following:
I removed:
"*26 December 2004: There is unconfirmed information that some Israeli frogmen died when the tsunami wiped out a secret USA base on Phi Phi island on the coast of Thailand: see [2]. However, no Israeli families have ever reported any of their relatives from the Shayetet 13 as missing."
Its just a conspiracy theory and nothing more, It does not belong here. --Theredstarswl 20:24, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Another operation
Shayetet 13 is thought to have participated in the Tunis job of April 1988 in which Abu Jihad was neutralized, er, assassinated. Don't ask me to prove it :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Jihad#Assassination http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunis_Raid LDH 08:17, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article Identical Almost To A Word from Shayetet 13 Article from ISAYERET.COM
I used to have an account with the Israeli Special Forces Database (www.isayeret.com) and I could have sworn this article is almost a word for word copy from that paysite. Yet there's no link or reference to it as far as I can see. What's going on here? Did the person or persons who made this article consult with the www.isayeret.com webmaster for permission to use his article for this wikipedia article? Wikiphyte 17:13, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good point. The Shayetet article of Isayeret.com is free, but I'll add the link. Yosy 13:57, 3 April 2007(UTC)
