Sherman's Way

Sherman's Way is a comedy/drama independent feature film starring James LeGros, Enrico Colantoni, Lacey Chabert, Donna Murphy, Brooke Nevin, and Michael Shulman. Film was directed by Craig Saavedra, written by Thomas R. Nance, and produced by Starry Night Entertainment. Sherman's Way completed principal photography in Fall, 2006 and was shot in Manhattan, New York, Clear Lake, California, and Los Angeles, California.

An eccentric Olympic has-been who prefers leisure to work, finds himself stuck with a rigid pre-law Ivy-League student with no time for wasting time. Between skinny-dipping and stealing cars, this odd-couple learns from each other that balance is the key to getting the girl, getting the job and getting a life.

Craig Saavedra and Michael Shulman produced Sherman's Way through their recently-formed production company Starry Night Entertainment along with Tom Nance. Saavedra has previously directed Shulman in "Rhapsody In Bloom".
Sherman's Way reteams Michael Shulman with Lacey Chabert and Donna Murphy. Shulman previously played Chabert's love interest in Party of Five and was Donna Murphy's son in the HBO film "Someone Had to be Benny."
