Simpang Pulai

Simpang Pulai is a small town south of Ipoh, the capital of Perak, Malaysia. The town is accessible via the North-South Expressway Northern Route and Second East-West Highway.
This is also the new access way to Cameron Highlands. At the traffic light junction, on the main trunk road, there are four direction to go. One will lead to Ipoh, one to Cameron Highlands, one to Lumut eventually leading to Pulau Pangkor also the same road will lead to Kellie's Castle, and finally one will lead back to Kuala Lumpur using the old trunk road.
There are also many quarries here. Imerys Honaik is located along the road to Cameron Highlands. Most of the quarries here mine the limestone hills for Calcium Carbonate or clay for industrial usage.
