Singapore Portrait Series currency notes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Portrait Series of currency notes is the fourth and most current set of notes to be issued for circulation in Singapore, having been first introduced in 1999 to the present. It has seven denominations, a reduction from nine in the previous three series of notes, with the $1 and $500 denominations removed.
This series shows the portrait of Singapore's first president, Encik Yusof bin Ishak, on the left half of the note's front. The design has been simplified, and at the same time, a whole range of new security features were introduced.
