I love the idea of wikipedia. It is great, but has many problems, such as vandalism, edit wars, incivility etc. I try to focus on fighting vandalism here but will sometimes look at the new articles. If I make any mistakes please tell me.
I am not sure if you have noticed this, but I have not been editing here much since then end of January 2007. Before that I was pretty active here, and on other wiki's, with fighting vandalism. I would like to let everyone here know that I am not leaving wikipedia. I feel as if it is a great project. The book of Proverbs in the Bible tell us to love wisdom and knowledge, and to search for it. This is why I feel that this place is so important. When I come back from my long wikibreak, I plan to help fight bias many in religious, science, and political articles. I also have plans to help in disputes, helping make wikipedia more friendly, and maybe doing minor vandalism work. Peace. --James, La gloria è a dio 21:29, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

"Abba John the Short, advising the young brothers to love fasting, told them frequently: “The good soldier, undertaking to capture a strongly fortified, enemy city, blockades food and water. In this way the resistance of the enemy is weakened and he finally surrenders. Something similar happens with carnal impulses, which severely war against a person in his youth. Blessed fasting subdues the passions and the demons and ultimately removes them far from the combatant.”" Sayings of the Desert Fathers
