PS. good points on the libertarian perspectives on abortion page. You're welcome to add arguments from the other side, especially if you provide sources and quotations. And the "Abortion Is Pro Life.com" quote could probably be shortened. In the future, you can usually make good additions to articles without discussing on talk pages first, though discussion can sometimes help for controversial articles. Enjoy your work on the encyclopedia!
- Thanks for the note! I've been lurking for a little bit trying not to be too "newbie" - too old a geek for that. The one quandry I'm still newbie about is how to maintian a NPOV on a page that is a "perspective." As the LPF webmaster, I've had some experience trying to create content that expresses an opinion without drawing fire from opposing viewpoints. I think the secret is making the opinion part clear - not stating things that people are likely to disagree with as "fact."
- Abortion is something I've written about more times than I can count. While I've always been "pro abortion" I try to understand the alternate view. Also, I try hard to avoid using the terms "pro choice" and "pro life" because they are inflammatory and the issue is abortion, not the inherent "right to liberty" or "right to life." I'll work on a write up when I have a little spare time.
