- The year 1961 is from herself, of course. Actresses tend to change their birth dates. 1958 is correct. Ask Wim.

There has been some confusion over her year of birth with wikipedia giving date of birth 16/5/61 yet saying she was 48 at time of death. According to this article: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117958008.html?categoryid=13&cs=1 her mother told reporters that she was born in May 1961 making her 45. I don't know what reason her mother would have to give false information. I originally changed the date to 29/7/58 but I have tonight changed it back to 1961 in light of this article. Someone else has changed the IMDB DOB likewise.

Her date of birth is being changed every other day due to the date 29 July 1958 being reported at first. A few days ago someone put her place of birth in Algeria and now it says Paris again. If people make changes, please include verifiable citations in the discussion pages. I don't know if Paris is right or if it is Algeria but I feel that the variety.com website gives good evidence from her mother that she was born on 16 May 1961. Is there an official notice anywhere that can provide proof? 84.69.50.194 23:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
