Terry Brooks' Shannara and Word/Void novels. I am re-reading the series (I finished the Word/Void series and Armageddon's Children recently and put up the plot summaries). I also wrote most of the text for the High Druid of Shannara series while not logged in. D'oh!
Various video games, including:

The Legend of Zelda series
ActRaiser and ActRaiser 2
Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma.
