St Peter's Woodlands Grammar

St. Peter's Woodlands Grammar School is a co-educational primary school situated in Glenelg, Adelaide. It has been rapidly expanding in terms of its student population, now with approximately 500 students. Within five years, the school will have three streams of classes from Reception to Year 7. In addition, it currently has a large preschool.
In 1999, the school relocated to the campus of the Woodlands Church of England Grammar School situated on Partridge Street. The move enaqbled the school to rapidly increase enroloments, as there is now substantially more classroom space and the school now has two ovals.
At St. Peter’s Woodlands they offer a diverse and stimulating curriculum comprising English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, German, Studies of Society and Environment, Design and Technology, Health and Physical Education and the Arts
Literacy and numeracy skills are emphasised at all year levels. Information and Communication Technologies are integrated across all areas of learning and a large, well resourced library supports the curriculum.
Specialist teachers are employed in ICT, Library, German, Special Education, Art, Music and Physical Education.
There Primary School is structured into sub-schools relating to the four relevant developmental stages:
• Early Learning; • Junior Primary; • Middle Primary and • Senior Primary.
Each sub-school has a Team Leader, overseen by an Assistant Prinicpal responsible for Early Learning and Junior Primary, with a second Assistant Principal responsible for Middle and Senior Primary.
