Stephen Hill Spruiell (born November 20, 1979), a conservative writer and columnist for the National Review.

Spruiell is a native of Arlington, Texas.

Spruiell received his BA in journalism from the University of Oklahoma in 2002.
Spruiell was a Summer Fellow Class of 2002 of the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia.
In the fall of 2003 Spruiell enrolled at the University of Texas, Austin to study public policy.

Spruiell has worked as a researcher at Citizens for a Sound Economy, a Washington, D.C. think tank.
