Steve Banyard

Steve Banyard (born in 1963) is a UK-based football commentator and heard in many countries around the world.
He first made his mark at Invicta Radio in Kent before moving to Hallam FM in Sheffield in 1991, where his innovative style helped the station become the most popular in Yorkshire.
In 1999 he was named the top Sports Broadcaster at the North East of England Press and Broadcast awards, and since then, he's been working in television, mostly with leading independent production company TWI, as well as with HBS, the host broadcasters for the World Cup.
He commentates on the English Premier League and French Ligue 1 for the worldwide television feed, but has been heard in the UK on Sky and Channel 4.
