Steve Foster (born December 3, 1974 in Mansfield) is a professional footballer currently playing for Scunthorpe United. He began his career at Mansfield Town, where he was released after making only a handful of appearances. He later played for Conference sides Telford United and Woking, before returning to The Football League with Bristol Rovers in 1997.
After five seasons with Bristol Rovers, Foster joined Doncaster Rovers, whom he helped win successive promotions from the Conference to League One. He was released by Doncaster in January 2006, and joined Scunthorpe later the same month[1].
