Stewart Brown

Stewart Brown is an English poet and university lecturer as well as scholar of African and Caribbean Literature.
[edit] Life and Study
Born in England, Stewart Brown is a lecturer in Caribbean and African culture, particularly Literature, at the Centre of West African Studies, University of Birmingham. He is one of the foremost scholars of West Indian literature in the UK, and has edited several seminal works on the subject. Brown has taught at Bayero University, Nigeria, and at the University of the West Indies, at its Jamaica and Barbados campuses.
