Stu Lantz

Stuart (Stu) Burrell Lantz (born July 13, 1946, in Uniontown, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is the current television commentator for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has been the Lakers' color commentator since 1987, winning numerous awards for his work along the way. The Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association has named Lantz best radio commentator in six of the last seven years. Lantz played in the American Basketball Association and in the NBA from 1968 until 1976. He was drafted by the San Diego Rockets in the 3rd round (1st pick) of the 1968 NBA Draft.
He is good friends with Magic Johnson
