Survival Unit

Survival Unit is a Swedish harsh noise/power electronics outfit that took form in the fall of 1997. Aggressive vocals, distorted feedback-noise, rhythmic patterns, analogue synthesisers and loops are amongst the tools utilised by this project. Survival Unit's work focuses on a variety of concepts that are commonly found in the harsh noise scene (terrorism, violence, religion, hate, drugs, domination, sexism etcetera).
They are associated with cultural terrorism alongside projects such as Con-Dom, The Grey Wolves etc. Some of these acts have collaborated with Survival Unit including Proiekt Hat, Wertham, Death Squad, Death Pact International, and Con-Dom.
