My cooking directions slightly differ from the El-Monterey Go-Go Taquitos box, but it yields less mess and a crispier taquito. perhaps include this? Although this assumes you will eat/share all 4. Might have to adjust time for fewer taquitos.
Unpack all taquitos onto a paper plate, cover with another paper plate. Place in microwave for one minute forty five seconds (1:45) at high. While taquitos cook, prepare a toaster oven tray with aluminum foil. When the microwave finishes, roll taquitos halfway to get frozen bottoms up. Replace in microwave for another one minute forty five seconds (1:45) at high. Transfer taquitos to toaster oven tray and toast at lightest toaster setting. When toaster oven cycle completes, pull tray part way out with a fork, roll taquitos halfway with same fork, and toast again. When toaster oven cycle completes, pull tray part way out with a fork, slide aluminum foil with taquitos out of tray onto paper plate. Allow taqitos to cool to finish crisping.
