I am a player in the online MMORPG RuneScape. My in-game character's name is ChikoritaPro.

For Wikipedia, particularly in the RuneScape articles, I create images straight from the game, several of which are animated clips.

The majority of my contributions to Wikipedia are creating images for RuneScape. Despite this, I have made a few text edits here and there.

My goal was to animate the RuneScape articles. This goal was shot down by a bigot. Thus the gallery was eventually born.

Almost all my images have some sort of signature that guarantees it came from me to avoid any incident of impersonations. This should be obvious when seen.

[edit] How the images are created

I have used a couple of programs to create these images and clips.

[edit] Animated Clips

I use Camtasia Recorder of Camtasia Studio 3 to directly record videos from RuneScape. I then use Camtasia Studio of Camtasia Studio 3 to edit and convert the videos into Animated GIFs. If necessary, I use Fireworks MX of Macromedia to further edit and crop the clip.

[edit] Still Images

I simply use Microsoft Paint after taking a screenshot of the game with the Prt Scr key. I paste the screenshot into Microsoft Paint and do the necessary cropping and converting of the image.

[edit] Image Quality

My images are attempted to be made with the highest quality possible. Inside the game RuneScape, the game occasionally distorts the screen in an attempt to prevent macros. Along with that and the constant activity in RuneScape, this can sometimes mess up my recording of animated clips. However, I try to make sure I record the clip without any distortion whatsoever. I then save it at the most appropriate and highest quality possible file type necessary for articles.
