What gay friends or family do you have that you wish to defend? Why do you defend them?
I do not deny them their human rights, but their rights to freely express themselves in society, marry, and adopt or have children; I am against.
Also, Christian teaching tells us that homosexuality is not immoral, but homosexual acts are immoral. Thus, PDAs of homosexuality (difference between thsi and brotherhood that I will bring up if you challenge me on this), marrage of gays, and bringing up another human being in the influence of homosexuals all goes against the Church.
I see you are not Catholic, so according to your religion, as long as you use a real Bible, do you know what the Bible tells you? Leviticus 20:13 - The punishment for homosexuality is death.
