Tekari is a city and a municipality in Gaya district in the Indian state of Bihar.Maharaja Gopalsaran was the king of this area in accient times.The fort is still there.It is a place of tourist's interest.Late Prof Naresh Pd Singh (S.N.Sinha college) belong to this holy place. Some of the nearby villages are Jalalpur, Lodipur, Chiraali etc.
