This is the world's best tennis player as of all of 2005 and 6, probably all of '07 and maybe '08, Swiss player Roger Federer.	American player Andy Roddick shown here. I like him. He is nice, and good. He's number 9, and lost to Federer in the finals of the US Open 2006.	This is Ivan Ljubičić, number 3 in the world, registered in Croatia, and he looks all ready to go, all fit.	This is the best women player in the world, Amelie Mauresmo of France at Wimbledon 2006. She is throwing a powerful serve.

This is Russian tennis player Nadia Petrova, looking all pumped. She's number 6 for womens' singles in the world. throwing a good-looking hit and a fit figure.

This is Argentine player David Nalbandian, who is number 4 in the world. I used to often get him confused with the player from Cyprus, Marcos Bagdatis.	This is Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus. I used to confuse him with David Nalbandian of Argentina. In the 2006 US Open, Baghdatis being the eighth seed at the time, lost to the old Andre Agassi of the United States of America, but that was not supposd to happen. He was unseeded runner-up at the Australian Open when he lost to Roger Federer.

This critically endangered subspecies of the Gray Wolf once ranged from central Mexico to the Southwestern United States. In 1980, the last five known surviving members were captured to save the species. Now, over 300 wolves are taking part in a wolf reintroduction program, with at least fifty individuals in the wild.

Max Mirnyi (nicknamed The Beast) (Belarusian: Максім Мірны, Maksim Mirny; born July 6, 1977) is a tennis player from Belarus.

Like Natasha Zvereva (a Belarusian tennis star from 1980s and early 1990s), Max Mirnyi focuses on doubles. His biggest achievements so far are the two victories in doubles at the US Open in 2000 and 2002 and his 2005 French Open title. In 2003 he reached the doubles final at Wimbledon. On June 9, 2003, he reached 1st position in ATP Doubles Entry Ranking. In singles, he achieved his career-high ranking of World No. 18 in August 2003.

He became a national hero in Belarus after a very successful performance at the Davis Cup 2004, when he and Vladimir Voltchkov defeated Russia 3-2 and went on to crush the mighty Argentine team 5-0, reaching the semifinals where they lost to USA.

Mirnyi was supposed to be the flag bearer of the Belarus national team for the official opening of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, but Belarusian sport officials changed their minds after they found out that Mirnyi let one Belarusian glamour magazine publish erotic images of himself and his wife.

In 2006, he scored a huge upset as he took down James Blake 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-1 6-0 at Wimbledon. He then lost to his doubles partner Jonas Björkman 6-3 7-6 4-6 2-6 6-3. Björkman's run to the semifinals may have tired him out as Björkman/Mirnyi lost to Fabrice Santoro and Nenad Zimonjic in straight sets.
