Tessa Bonhomme

Tessa Bonhomme (born on July 25th, 1985 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a member of the Canadian national Women's hockey team. She also a member and co-captain of the Ohio State Buckeyes Women's hockey team in the NCAA.

Bonhomme has recently returned to the Buckeyes after redshirting the 2005-06 season while taking part in the Canadian Centralization Program in association with the National Women's Team. Through two seasons, the two-time letterwinner already ranks fourth all-time in defensemen scoring with 47 points. She is co-captain of the team along with Amber Bowman, Katie Maroney and Lacey Schultz.

Daughter of Doug and Debbie Bonhomme ... has one sister Brittany (22) ... enjoys rollerblading, baseball, hacky sack, golf and weight training ... father coached Cambrian College to a Canadian National Championship in 1997 and four All-Ontario championships in 11 years of coaching; he has served as a scout for the Ontario Hockey League for 20 years ... uncle, Tim Bonhomme, plays keyboard for the Beach Boys ... uncle, Alan Bonhomme, plays guitar on some of Dwight Yoakum's albums and has appeared on the "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"; he currently is teaching at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles.
