The Adventures of Neverland is an upcoming, independently created adventure game that is currently in production. The game will be loosely based on the fairy tale commonly referred to as "Peter Pan". All that is known of the game right now is that it will explain the origins of Captain Hook, and depict Neverland from a completely different perspective. Instead of being a light hearted, mystical place (as depicted in Disney's Peter Pan) it will be a much darker, dangerous place. The game is set for a late 2007 release as a SNES-styled adventure PC game - rumored to be free of charge.
