The Business is a weekly half hour show focusing on film industry news from National Public Radio and KCRW, hosted by longtime film industry journalist Claude Brodesser-Akner.
The theme song is Show Business by A Tribe Called Quest. Brodesser-Akner and his producer, KCRW's Matt Holzman, placed first in the 47th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards in the category of Entertainment Reporting/Criticism (2005), and Brodesser-Akner was a finalist in the category of Entertainment Journalist of the Year at the 48th Southern California Journalism Awards (2006).
