The Forks Of The Wabash

The Forks of the Wabash is a historic theme park near Huntington, Indiana.
It preserves local history of the Native Americans known as the Miami Indian Nation, and their relationship with the American government and the settlers from Europe.
Recollections focus on the great canal which was a major form of transportation at the time, two hundred years worth of evolvement from rustic natives to an organized land spiced with prosperity and culture.
It enables visitors to learn about how the wild frontier grew to become a small successful community in Northeastern Indiana.
Activities include Spring School Tours, Gourd Fest, Farmer's Market, Fall School Tours, Senior Day, Fall Plant Sale, Pioneer Festival, Annual Dinner, and Christmas at the Forks.
