The Gnostic Paul
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Gnostic Paul is book by Elaine Pagels, a well respected scholar of gnosticism and also Princeton University's Professor of Religion. In the work, Pagels considers each of the Pauline Epistles, and questions about their authorship, proposing that one should conclude that Paul of Tarsus was a gnostic, whose gnosticism was later covered up by the church orthodoxy.
