[edit] Plot summary
While working in The Premiere, Josh sees a famous magician, Henry Doheny. Josh invites him to his house for lunch. Doheny arrives and starts doing magic tricks with Megan and Drake. When Josh returns with lunch for Henry, it disappears instantly and he rubs his mouth signaling that he has eaten the sandwich. Later, at bedtime, Doheny appears from Josh's closet. Walter runs in and starts admiring Doheny. Walter, Josh and Doheny go to a club in downtown San Diego.
The next day, at The Premiere, Drake is on a date. Doheny turns up and makes Drake's date disappear. Drake makes Josh go and tell Henry to stop messing around with him. As Josh talks to him, he admits that he is homeless and hasn't had a job for ten years. Josh decides to let him stay at the house. As he tells Drake, banging is heard, and when Drake looks down, his date is in the popcorn machine, looking distressed. Later, Doheny performs a trick on Walter, making him bald. Walter runs to tell Audrey. Doheny uses a machine that stops his snoring while he sleeps. Drake and Josh hate the machine as it is as loud as a leaf blower. Josh turns the machine off and loud snoring is heard. In the morning, Josh tells Doheny that he should have a comeback show. As Drake and Josh leave for school, Megan walks in with an idea for the greatest trick ever.
At The Premiere, Doheny is doing a comeback show. Walter is present wearing a cowboy hat, signaling that he is still bald. Drake and Josh are his assistants. Doheny climbs into a box and Drake and Josh push four swords into the box. When Josh signals for him to appear outside the box, nothing happens. Drake and Josh open the box and call for a doctor. The doctor says that Doheny is dead.
The family and the doctor attend Doheny's funeral. Many guests and the media are also present. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Doheny appears. The guests are shocked and the doctor says it's impossible he's alive, as he had no pulse. Drake and Josh ask him why they couldn't have been in on the trick, and he explains that he needed the boys to be filled with terror and guilt to make the trick work.
Later, at home, the doorbell rings and Josh answers. Doheny walks in with two women. He announces that he has made a five year deal in Las Vegas worth four million dollars. He gives Megan a check for fifty thousand dollars for helping with his comeback, but only gives Drake and Josh yo-yo's. As he leaves, Walter asks for his hair back. Doheny agrees and tells him to close his eyes, but he just walks out the door.
