"The Lady Varnishes" is the sixth episode of the first season of Andy Barker, P.I.. It debuted online at NBC.com on March 1, 2007. NBC originally did not plan to air the episode on NBC as part of the original season one run of Andy Barker, P.I. and touted the episode as an "online exclusive" on NBC.com. However NBC changed their plans and is planning on airing the episode on Saturday, April 14, 2007 along with The Big No Sleep. [1]

Andy discovers a forty-year-old letter from a woman convicted of murder that explains she was framed. However, Lew's former partner, the real murderer, will stop at nothing to keep the truth from coming out.
