The Nueva School is a Pre-K through 8th grade private school in Hillsborough, CA for gifted and talented children. Nueva was founded in 1967 by Karen Stone McCown and is located in a former Crocker family mansion known as Skyfarm. Currently, the school consists of 340 children, 48 full-time faculty, and 17 part-time faculty. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California Association of Independent Schools. The school's music program was designed, in part, by Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
