Thiruvilayadal (1965) is a Tamil feature film directed by A.P. Nagarajan. The cast includes Sivaji Ganesan, R. Muthuraman, Savithri, Nagesh, Manorama, and Balaiyah. It was one of the memorable films of Sivaji Ganesan and Nagesh.

The story comprises 4 episodes involving Lord Shiva and all 4 have different stories called as leelaigal. Each part teaches you something for life at the end. All stories have Lord Shiva as the main character and what he does to test the patience and devotions of His devotees. The sound track of this film is popular even today - after 40 years and is still played during temple festivals in Tamil Nadu.

- The Dharumi scene played by Nagesh is memorable and the dialogues in that part of the movie are a feast.
- Songs are excellent though classical.
- The director A P Nagarajan himself did the role of Nakkeeran in the first episode.
