Topliţa (Hungarian: Maroshévíz, German: Töplitz) is a municipality in Harghita County, Romania. The name is of Slavic origin, meaning "hot water spring".
In antiquity it was a Dacian city called Sangidava.

The town has an ethnically mixed population. According to the 2002 census the city has a population of 15,880, of which 11,291 (71.1%) are Romanians, 4,039 (25.4%) are Székely Hungarians and 486 (3.1%) are Roma.
