I think the gramdmother role Tracy Jordan's character is famous for playing is white. The movie is called something like "Honky Grandma Be Trippin'" or something ridiculous. Does anyone know for sure? Jyroberson 16:52, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Hm, so the Apollo Theater line was mentioned in the show in tonight's episode, and it seems to have been added by a user called "Jordanfan", back on December 23, 2006, well before the air date, and probably after the show was written, so I'm thinking it was probably a studio plant? - I like it. Since this is a page about a fictional character and since everything they right becomes the "facts" of his life if they are going to mention something he did according to Wikipedia and then they add it to wikipedia somehow it becomes true ;) --MrCalifornia 13:07, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Eddie Murphy? Isn't he a parody of Martin Lawrence. His movies/career and incidents with the law seem like just minor modifications of Lawrence's real life. At most he's 30% Eddie Murphy & 70% Lawrence.
I'm pretty sure he's an amalgam of many famous/imfamous Black comedians in SNL's history. Many of his antics remind me of Richard Pryor in the early days of SNL (I'm reading the book LIVE FROM NEW YORK!, a history of SNL). --Jhlynes 07:41, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
