Trent Willmon

Trent Willmon (born March 6, 1973 in Amarillo, Texas) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was raised in a ranch near Afton with his parents Dean Willmon and Billie Willmon. He spent the early years of high school learning about agriculture, but at 16, he was given a guitar, and his interest in music began to grow. By his second year in college, he dropped out to join a bluegrass band. In 1995, he moved to Nashville to start a songwriting career, and by 1998 he had a song-publishing contract with Sea Gayle Music. He finally signed with Columbia Records and became a solo artist.
