Troy High School (Troy, Ohio)

Troy High School is a public school located on West Staunton Road in Troy, Ohio. The current location was built in 1958, it is 182,000 square feet and enrolled 1,400 students. The school's mascot is the Trojans. It is part of the Troy City School District.

Troy High School was first founded by William Edwards in 1852. In 1885 the high school was moved to Kyle School (now an elementary). Its baseball team won the championship in 1906. In 1916 Van Cleve (now an elementary) was the high school for 43 years. In 1958 the current high school was built at a cost of 3 million, and measuring in 182,000 sqaure feet.

In October 3,2005 a 12 Million dollar budget construction started. These plans include: a new gymnasium, a student commons,a science wing, new restrooms, and new tennis court. Construction is set to be completed by 2007.
