Tu or TU may stand for:

- Tu (in Spanish Tú) is an informal second-person pronoun in Romance languages. It is also an informal form of the second-personal pronoun in Hindi and Urdu. For more information on formal and informal pronouns, see T-V distinction.
- Tu is also an expression, commonly used in the United Kingdom. It is used whenever someone makes an avoidable (and terrible) mistake. Mistakes normally are including but not limited to acts of slippery, forgetfulness, mistyping computer commands, pulling the plugs, smashing ketchup and vinegar bottles.
- TU is also used as an acronym for "tits up", indicating a state of expiration, as in, "my television went TU".
- Tu is the expression made in reaction to a mistake by those that foresore it. The mistake is usually the result of incompetence or poor reasoning and logic. The expectant observers greet the occurrence of the mistake with a "tu" sound.
Abbreviations of universities:
- As t.u. (in lower case), used as a derogatory reference to the University of Texas at Austin by students and supporters of its arch-rival, Texas A&M University, since they say that the University of Texas is not the university of Texas, but just another Texas university. Students and supports of the University of Texas at Austin respond by saying t.u. stands for The University, implying that Texas A&M is of second caliber.
