Hi! My name's Lindsey. I've been a Wikipedian since November 22, 2006 so I'm relatively new to this whole thing, but I find it pretty enjoyable. I'm a sociologist at heart so I find it intriguing to be a part of a project that revolves around sharing collective wisdom.
My activities on Wikipedia are probably best described as gnome-like; I spend a lot of time on the cleanup page, yesterday's AfD log page, clicking random articles, and making minor edits.

- I recently finished reading a book called The Wisdom of Crowds by James Surowiecki that talks a lot about why things like Wikipedia are so important and why together we are often so much smarter than we are alone. I'd recommend it to anyone who is interested in finding out what makes Wikipedia work.
