Tyler King is a fictional character from Highlander: The Series, portrayed by actor Callum Keith Rennie. He is an Immortal.

Tyler King was born in Sacramento, California in 1886, he was a foundling who was raised by a couple. Tyler grew up and got into some trouble. At the age of 25 in 1911, he went to a brothel for a good time, but the good time did not last, a fire broke out and Tyler was caught in it. He died in the blaze, but he came back to life and became Immortal. Later on he met his teacher, Cassie Lothrop, who taught him about being Immortal. Tyler King found his purpose in life, to take the heads of other Immortals, becoming a headhunter. In 1995, Tyler is in Greenville, Washington, and is headhunting. He goes to a junkyard and encounters an Immortal named Alan Wells. He and Alan go at it with their sword. Another Immortal named Mikey Bellows, who is mentally challenged is hiding in a bus with Alan's wife, Helen. Helen and Mikey see Tyler King behead Alan and Helen screams. Mikey kills Helen accidentally. While King receives the Quickening, Mikey runs off. Tyler decides to go after Mikey to take his head. Tyler watches on a hill seeing Mikey get picked up on the side of a road by an Immortal named Richie Ryan. Tyler King runs into Mikey at a train ride and tries to get Mikey to come with him, but Mikey wants to ride the train he is sitting on. Later on that week, Tyler finds out where Mikey is, at a dojo owned by Duncan MacLeod. As Duncan gets off the elevator, He senses the presence of another Immortal, Tyler King. Tyler introduces himself to MacLeod, telling him he is here for Mikey. Duncan won't allow Tyler to take Mikey's head. Mikey comes into the dojo and sees Tyler and Duncan at it. Mikey tries to stop the fight. Duncan tells Mikey to run away, and Mikey leaves. Later on, at the MacMahon Pass, Tyler King is there. Duncan, Richie, and Mikey are there to show Mikey some trains. They sense the presence of another Immortal. King tries to get Mikey, but Duncan challenges King to fight. They go into a train garage and Tyler King loses his head to Duncan MacLeod. He is also a kid that lives in salem oregon and plays some wicked guitar and bass and writes some cool chord progressions
