Tyrone D. Bland is a Washington lobbyist.

Tyrone Bland served as the Director of Field Operations to the Honorable Walter R. Tucker III (D-Compton), before becoming Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Carl Washington in the California State Legislature. He has held positions with the City of Long Beach, the City of Los Angeles, the National Railroad Pax Corp (AMTRAK) and, has run a lobbying practice in Sacramento.

He has been ^[1] honored publicly on the Floor of the United States House of Representatives, the California State Legislature and by the County of Los Angeles.

Tyrone Bland was an outstanding scholar-athlete and, was a key member of the Carson High School Varsity Football team before going on to play at the University of California at Berkeley. He later attended the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).^{[citation needed]}

Mr. Bland holds more than a decade of legislative, regualtory, public policy, and public affairs expertise. In 2006 he joined the Capitol Hill Consulting Group in Washington, DC as Senior Vice President, but in Februar 2007, he is not listed on its website.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bland has represented municipalities and corporate interests before the California State Legislature, the United States Congress and a wide range of Federal and State regulatory bodies. He has offered strategic advice and counsel to numerous Mayors, Governors, and Members of Congress. Since 1993, his professional relationships have expanded to include business and public opinion leaders, and multi-media executives across the country.^{[citation needed]}

Mr. Bland’s extensive portfolio includes work with Fortune 500 corporations; Wal-Mart, FedEx and current clients Toyota, Diebold Election Systems and Verizon Wireless.^{[citation needed]}
