Umm Kulthum bint Asim

Umm Kulthum Jamila bint Asim ibn Thabit (Arabic: أم كلثوم جميلة بنت قاسم بن ثابت) was one of the wifes of Umar, the second Sunni Caliph.
Sources avaible to this article have not established if Asim ibn Thabit was her father, or if he just shared her fathers name and patronymic.

Shibli Nomani, a 20th century Sunni Islamic scholar writes:
Asim ibn Umar would become the grandfather of Umar II, the Fifth Sunni Caliph.
