Ungheni, Argeş

Ungheni is a commune in south-western part of Argeş County, Romania with a population of 3,698 (2002 census). It is made out of six villages: Ungheni, Colţu, Găujani, Goia, Humele and Satu Nou. It is located at the coordinates 24°56' E, 44°30' N and has a postal code of 117780.
Nearby localities are Recea (to the east), Miroşi (to the south), Stolnici (to the west) and Buzoieşti (to the north). The National Road DN65A Piteşti - Costeşti - Roşiori de Vede - Turnu Măgurele goes through Ungheni. The nearest river is Teleorman.
