[edit] merge
There is no reason a single academic division of this university should have its own wikipedia entry. The main university page is pretty thin as it is. -- Austin Murphy 16:02, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- Performed merge. Nobody seemed to object. -- Austin Murphy 15:20, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV
I added the NPOV template to this article...wording such as "UArts offers a unique environment where students from many disciplines can interact and grow in a vibrant community of creativity." seem like something I'd find in an application brochure from the school. - echidnae 04:03, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
And is the opening sentence "The University of the Arts (UArts) is the nation’s first and only university dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts." not a bit misleading, given the existence of other institutions such as, eg, CalArts? AWO 00:22, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- I reworked the first paragraph to be what I think is NPOV. Do you think it deserves to have the POV tag removed? -- Austin Murphy 20:01, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for your editing, the opening paragraph of the article is much better now, and I would say is NPOV. However, there are still parts of this article that are blatantly either taken from advertisements, or are supposed to advertise the school. For instance, look at the sections 'USP and The University of the Arts' and 'Facilities'. They still read like someone from the school wrote them. Again, thanks for your edits, though... -echidnae 23:24, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
