University of Arid Agriculture

University of Arid Agriculture is located at Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. According to the university website, "in the 1970, the Government of Pakistan constituted a Barani Commission to review and recommend measures for the development of rain fed agriculture. Pursuant to the recommendation of Barani commission, The government of Punjab established an Agricultural college Rawalpindi which was later upgraded to the level of the University in 1994."
