Unterseeboot 529

Unterseeboot or U-529 was a Nazi German U-Boat that served during World War II. It was first launched on July 15th, 1942, with a crew of 48 under the command of Georg-Werner Fraatz.
U-529 departed Kiel on its maiden active patrol on January 30th, 1943. On February 15th, 1943, it was listed as missing in action, assumed lost at sea. It has never been determined what caused its disappearance. [1]
