I have to ask, which decomm date is correct? The one published at navy.mil or the one on the NVR site?

BREMERTON, Wash. (NNS) -- The fast combat support ship USS Camden (AOE 2) was decommissioned Sept. 29 at Pier Delta at Naval Base Kitsap, ending 38 years of naval service.
Which differs from the NVR reported decomm date of 14 October 2005. NVR still lists Camden as Navy property also. However, NVR says that the date that Camden was stricken is also the same day that it was decomm'd. Could this be an error on NVR's part?
