The book Vampire Breath is a Goosebumps book by R.L. Stine about kids named Cara and Freddy, who find a coffin with a vampire inside and a bottle of "Vampire Breath", which brings the creature to life and rejuvenates him. After a harrowing chase through a vampire world, the Count has the two kids cornered...until Freddy's parents come home and his mom recognizes the vampire as her father. It turns out that Freddy's family are vampires and Freddy will become one when he reaches puberty.

In the television version of this book, Cara and Freddy are siblings. And their family name is Renfield. This is a reference to the servant in the Dracula literature, who bares the same name.
