This is a project page for reviewers. This project does not produce official guidelines or policies. It is an informal gathering of editors interested in participating the review processes of Wikipedia. If you enjoy providing feedback for others, please join in!

WikiProject Reviews is a place for reviewers and advocates of the review processes in Wikipedia. It aims to improve participation in providing reviews and outside opinions. As a group, we hope to bring our disparate views together to form guidelines, essays and advice for those participating in review processes. One of our main aims is to improve the consistency of review replies and reduce backlogs on the appropriate pages. Anyone who is interested in the goals of the project is welcome to join! Just sign your name under the members section and jump into some tasks or join in the discussions. If you need any help or advice, please don't be shy about leaving a message on our talk page.

Improve participation in review processes.
Improve the consistency of outside opinions and reviews.
Create project guidelines and participation essays for reviewers.
Create proposals to improve review processes in a open fashion to be proposed on the appropriate process talk page, as needed.

[edit] Scope

The project generally covers review processes in Wikipedia.
It primarily focuses on requests for feedback and editor review. The project also encourage participation in requests for comment on articles and peer review. Particular attention will be given to review pages with a backlog.
The project does not supersede WikiProject Good articles or the Version 1.0 Editorial Team. Project participants should defer to other projects in their relevent areas.

Provide constructive criticism and positive feedback to editors on review.

Help build project guidelines for editor reviews.

Contribute outside opinions and suggestions for requests for article feedback.

Help build project guidelines for requests for feedback.

Build and suggest other guidelines and essays to provide assistance and suggestions for other reviewers.
