Any objection if I move this to VfB Stuttgart, for readability? Most other football club articles have the "FC", "AC", "CF" etc. abbreviated. sjorford 15:25, 21 Jun 2004 (UTC)
I second Sjorford's suggestion. Dale Arnett 17:03, 21 Jun 2004 (UTC)
it is quite long. but accuracy is desirable in an encyclopedia. and how does readability suffer? Badanedwa 07:40, Jun 22, 2004 (UTC)
- Well, not readability exactly, but most people know it as VfB Stuttgart, and I had to look at the title twice to work out what it was about. The full accurate name will still be at the start of the opening paragraph. sjorford 08:15, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)
-
- as i assumed, then. additionally, retaining the full name at the start is good. additionally, it comes to mind that a redirect may constitute an article "title", if not a title. neutral now. Badanedwa 18:40, Jun 22, 2004 (UTC)
Why have they hired mexican players?
- Well, why should they not? Pardo ans Osorio are doing a great job in the Bundesliga and everybody in Stuttgart is very happy to have them in the team. I think the VfB decided to hire them after the FIFA World Cup 2006, where they both did quite a good job. By the way: Pardo and Osorio are the first mexican players ever in the Bundesliga. Maybe this fact could be taken into the article. Greetings from Germany!
