I disagree with your edit on Le Monde Diplomatique. The Diplo is left-wing, that's a fact, this is like saying that the Figaro is right-wing. (The labels "left" or "right" are as usual defined relatively to the country being discussed, here France).
I gather you're not a native French speaker (correct me if I'm wrong), but here in France you'd be hard-pressed to find anybody not considering the Diplo to be left-wing, except perhaps sympathizers of far-left parties for whom almost everybody except themselves is right-wing or social-traitor. :-) David.Monniaux 21:39, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
